Commemorating the 130th anniversary of the Japanese company, the unmanned fully autonomous zero-emission concept is packed with artificial intelligence and electrification technology.

Powered 100% electrically using a combination of lithium-ion and solar batteries, the vehicle’s height can be lowered to increase tractive power or raised to keep the operating platform above tall crops. It is also possible to alter the speed of each electric wheel motor, which results in a tight turning circle.

Kubota plans to continue developing labour-saving and precision farming technologies to address the two main challenges facing the Japanese agricultural sector; labour shortages and the increasing average age of farmers.
