Kuhn will preview a semi-autonomous self-propelled mixer wagon at the Space livestock show in Rennes, France.
Sharing some of its technology with the 2021-launched Aura autonomous mixer wagon, the new twin vertical auger Antea models will be available in capacities of 19, 22, 25 and 27m3.
There will be 25 and 40km/hr versions. The e-Visiospace cab is said to offer the largest interior space on the market, and the new machines will be equipped with wear-resistant K-nox components.
The Antea still needs a driver. What Kuhn means with semi-autonomous is the Librafeed system. A one-star winner in the show’s Innov’Space award scheme, Librafeed automatically controls parts of the loading and mixing processes and allows operators to pre-set different settings for each ration (includes desired loading quantity, mixing speed and cutting intensity). According to Kuhn, the system should simplify things for the driver and ensure a more consistent ration.
All other technical information is under wraps until the show which starts on September 15 at the Parc-Expo in Rennes. The market launch of the Antea is scheduled for 2027.
