The 4,700-litre hopper on the Alentix 8047 GI twin disc spreader will suit users wanting to carry more fertiliser to the field.
One of the stand out products unveiled at a pre-Agritechnica press event at a farm close to Amsterdam Schiphol airport, main points include the RapidRate dosing system.
Positioned centrally above the redesigned RotaFlow 100 spreading system, the patented square-shaped dosing system is said to guarantee a precise and even fertiliser flow even on slopes or hilly terrain and at the widest working width of 54m.
Equipped with four weigh cells and a dual reference sensor, the weighing system provides real-time automatic weighing and the Alentix is believed to be the first TIM spreader with a system that automatically alters the top link to ensure the spreader remains level. It also automatically controls the speed of the pto.

The rear cover folds down provides a platform to stand on when filling or hopper checking, and the new spreader comes with an integrated parking stand. Only available with Kverneland branding for now, the Alentix will debut at Agritechnica.
The first units will be in the UK in January (full-spec hydraulically-driven versions with no options) and if you are not planning to visit the German show then you might like to know the Alentix will also be at Lamma.
