Kverneland Group and Mazzotti, a John Deere company, have signed a long-term contract to prolong their strategic partnership and intensify cooperation to develop the iXdrive self-propelled sprayer.

The three iXdrive models are the 4,000-litre 4240, 5,000-litre 5240 and 6,000-litre 6240. Powered by a 240hp 6-pot Perkins engine, steel booms are available from 27m-40m and aluminium versions from 24m-30m.

Patrick Verheecke, executive vice president arable systems division from Kverneland Group, said that with the new iXtrack T series trailed sprayers, mounted sprayer range and the long term continuation of the iXdrive self-propelled sprayer, Kverneland offers a complete product portfolio of field sprayers.

“This long term cooperation is an important pillar for our organisation to further strengthen our position within the sprayer market,” he added.

Mazzotti built its first self-propelled machine in 1987 and claims to be the market leader in Italy.
