Devon-based Twose has added a number of new features to its TF and TP hedger families for 2016. As well as a modern new look, LED lighting, improved hose routing and slide-mount heads, arguably the stand-out option is for operators to upgrade to an electric proportional controller. This controller includes an intuitive arm float mode, for better head contour following on verge work, and a Twose-developed auto-sensing break-back system that is said to reduce oil heat-up. Premium for the electric control is £3,000 over the price for the more standard low-pressure hydraulic set-up.
