ArmaTrac says the 80hp 804 fills the gap between its 50hp and 110hp tractors. Currently it uses a Stage IIIB, Perkins engine but this will switch to a Stage IV version come next year. The front axle and transmission are sourced from ZF. Direction changes are carried out using a mechanical shuttle and there is a splitter on the four gears – total ratio tally is 16 in both directions.
