The Agri-Press can be tooled up with discs or tines ahead of the two rows of interlocking rings. The latest machine from AgriWeld, its comes in working widths from 3.0m up to 8.0m.

Starting at the front, there is a choice of two-rows of heavy-duty pigtail tines or you can have three-rows of shearbolt protected tines. Alternatively, there is a 560mm scalloped disc option. All three front tool options are mounted on a parallel linkage with ram limiting slip on shims used to control the depth. This linkage is also used to raise the front cultivator module at the headland rather than lifting the complete machine.

Next in the firing line is the standard levelling board, with the paddle tines fitting between the front row of rings, directing any clods into the steel crushing path. The rings themselves are 860mm in diameter, and use ARS – abrasive resistant steel. With the interlocking arrangement, there is a ring making contact with the ground every 15cm across the working width. There is also a bolt on in-fill for the rings if needed.

The 6.0m wide model on show weighs 8.5t in its tine configuration with the pigtail version carrying a list price of £75,995. The disc harrow variant is £83,495.
