Slurryquip was launching this Stage V engine pumping rig at LAMMA last week. A four-cylinder, 188hp Caterpillar supplies the grunt to the Veneroni or Bauer pump.
To ensure a reliable connection with the operator on the spreading tractor it has a full belt and braces approach – radio, GSM and satellite. There is a screen on the £65,000 pumping rig with another on the spreading tractor so they can keep an eye on all of the pumping stats and be aware of any alerts.
All of the valves controlled hydraulically with the primer also hydraulically powered. The unit can be skid mounted or placed on a trailer.
