Yorkshire based JF Hudson introduced the AktivPuls milk cluster. It differs from other liners by collapsing at the bottom substantially reducing the vacuum at the teat end in the rest phase.

This should minimise teat trauma and the risk of hyperkeratosis. In fact the company says it will remove 90% of hyperkeratosis.

The silicon made liner has a life-span of 8,000 milkings. The liner is also designed with massage zones which is said to be particularly advantageous for cows with shorter teats.
