McConnel’s new 62 Series Power Arm, a refined mid-range reach arm mower, is said to offer an unrivalled combination of reach and power.

Manufactured at the Ludlow facility, the range is available in 5.1m, 5.5m and 5.7m configurations, plus, a 5.5m Variable Forward Reach (VFR) model provides significantly improved visibility of the cutting head making life easier for the operator.

New features across the range include LED road lighting, a redesigned hydraulic tank, a two-piece rear guard for improved service access, and a sculpted polypropylene top cover to protect key components from debris and moisture. Power Slew range has also been increased to 120 degrees, improving manoeuvrability when cutting out corners and ensuring a compact, secure transport position.

At the heart of the 62 Series is the in-house designed and built 60hp gear hydraulic system, paired with a 180-litre oil tank and high-capacity cooler. Customers can choose from cable controls or precise fingertip operation via the proportional electric system. Cable rotor control is supplied as standard, with an electric rotor control available as an option.

Suitable for fitting to tractors over 70hp and 3,000kg via three-point linkage with an integrated stabiliser A-frame for added rigidity and stability. The optional four-point mounting system adds an additional connection point to the tractor’s pick-up hitch for increased stability.
