The Mark II versions of the McHale V6 and V8 variable chamber balers made their Agritechnica debut. The big change is that the mid-spec V6750 and V8950 get ISObus control as standard. Not only that, but the mid-range offering now has active bale density which has been on the top spec V6760 and V8960 balers.
The oil tank has been made bigger and the bales also benefit from quick-fit gauge wheels. The chain tensioner springs have also been redesigned. Load cells in the bale chamber help keep the operator informed on how the bale is progressing and if one side has more material over the other .
Tractor Implement Management or TIM is also coming to the ISObus controlled balers.
