Designed for a row width of 75cm, the implement works in three stages. Hoeing discs cut weeds on the top and side of the ridge, while spring tines loosen the spaces between. Ridging bodies return the ridge to the desired shape.

There are three EC-Ridger models; the 5 for front or rear mounting, and the rear-mounted 7 and 9. Suitable for use in light soils and small ridges, the lightweight elements on the base model removes weeds from the tops and sides of the ridge.

The EC-Ridger 7 is fitted with the TRS hoeing element. A leaf guard can be added to prevent crops from becoming damaged or buried when the implement hoes along the sides and rebuilds the ridges. The ridging bodies can be swapped for discs in light soils and a subsoiler can be added for more challenging conditions.

The range of tool modules for fitting to the rear-mounted EC-Ridger 9 also includes blades for hoeing on ridges and discs for working between them. The working depth of both is controlled by depth wheels. Quick change spring tines, ridging discs and shares are also available, and it is possible to add a subsoiler.
