Working at depths from 200-300mm, the low disturbance soil loosener is available as 3.0m and 4.0m rigid versions, and 4.0m, 5.0m and 6.0m folding models.

The 3.0m rigid and 4.0m folding models on show in Birmingham are fitted with a new step change low disturbance leg and shark fin roller option. Suitable for retro-fitting to all existing Cousins V-form soil looseners, the step change leg can be swapped for either the Micro-wing, Quik foot or level lift tine.

Widening the versatility of the company’s contour roll range, the new tine kit option comprises two rows of sprung finger tines fitted ahead of the roller. Helping to spread crop residues behind the combine, the tines also aid chitting and are said to produce a fine surface tilth when used as a second cultivation pass.
