Reiter has used the experience gained during 10 years of making mergers to develop the second generation pick-up on the new R10.

With a working width of up to 10m, the pick-up on the new fully ISObus-compatible merger is said to produce a better flow of material to the centre of the belt and belt speed is adjusted from the cab.

Weighing around 6.5t, power requirement is from 150hp. Transport height, width and length are 3.95m, 2.96m, and 6.4m, respectively.

The R10 will be on the Austrian manufacturer’s Agritechnica stand as will a new generation of Respiro 3.0m and 3.5m front machines with a new pick-up.

Reiter reckons to have sold over 800 mergers to date and the Respiro is available in over 30 countries. The two biggest European markets are France and Germany, where three of the five pre-production R10s worked this season. Reiter booked a turnover of €4.2 million 2024.
