Devon-based Robert Cole Agricultural Engineers has taken on the Vogelsang franchise for the Southwest.
Operating out of a depot in Holsworthy, the JCB and Krone dealer, which also supplies Albutt, NC Engineering and Spread-a-Bale products, will sell the full Vogelsang range, including trailing shoes, dribble bars and separators.
Dealer principal Bob Oates bought the business from founders Robert and Annette Cole in 2018 and has since been building the team with his wife and fellow director, Kerry Oates.
“During August we will be attending Holsworthy and Stratton, Okehampton and North Devon shows to publicise our partnership with Vogelsang, and we look forward to discussing the product range with visitors,” says director Bob Oates (pictured here with his wife and fellow director, Kerry Oates).
“We have an established team of 17 staff helping with everything from sales to administration and felt that the opportunity to become a Vogelsang dealer was too good to miss,” says Bob, adding that the brand sits well with its current offering.
“As we are based in a strong livestock, particularly dairy farming region, there is demand for accurate and efficient slurry machinery and we look forward to working with customers old and new.”
Vogelsang agricultural sales manager, Andy Hayhurst, says the team at Robert Cole is perfectly placed to sell Vogelsang products throughout the Southwest and will have the full support of the firm’s dedicated UK agricultural team.
“It is exciting to be welcoming another new dealer, and we hope that this will reinforce our support of customers in this region.”
