Swedish plough manufacturer Överum Industries, which is owned by German investment company Faircap, has filed for bankruptcy and is in the hands of the receivers.

Production reportedly ended a week and a half ago when more than 70 workers were sent home. The Swedish plough manufacturer has struggled with financial problems for some time, caused mainly by the weak demand in the current economic climate.

CNH sold Överum in April 2024 to Faircap. The new owner planned to invest €40 million in the company, but in the end this did not happen. The receivers are seeking a solution, including the possible sale of the factory. Source: Mechaman
