CTEK’s new RB3000 and RB4000 battery boosters are said to provide the performance needed to start heavy agricultural machinery that smaller jump starters simply cannot handle.
A flat battery can bring farm operations to a standstill at the worst possible moment, and the new boosters are said to be particularly valuable for seasonal machinery that may have been standing idle for weeks or months before being called back into service.

Delivering up to 3000A and 4000A of starting power, and specifically designed for larger petrol and diesel engines, the heavy-duty RB3000 and RB4000 are compact enough to carry around the farm. As well as acting as powerful jump starters, they also have a built-in power bank for charging electronic devices and contain a LED work light. Built around CTEK’s four-cell battery technology, both units include an override/boost mode to start vehicles with deeply discharged batteries.
“For anyone working in agriculture, downtime isn’t just frustrating – it costs money,” says Mark Poole, UK sales manager at CTEK. “During harvest or other busy periods, a vehicle that’s out of action because of a flat battery can quickly have a knock-on effect across the whole operation.”

The compact design makes the boosters easy to transport and store in a cab, workshop or service vehicle.
Mr Poole adds that plenty of portable jump starters are designed with cars in mind, but when you’re dealing with tractors or other heavy-duty equipment, you need much more power.
“That’s exactly why we’ve introduced 3000A and 4000A models – to give farmers and contractors the confidence that they can get critical machinery back up and running quickly.”
