The new Pro version of the four-rotor Krone Swadro TC 1250 provides numerous automatic and driver-assistance functions.

Sitting below the larger TC 1370 Pro and TC 1570 Pro, the Pro version of the TC 1250 gives Krone another option in the 12.5m four-rotor rake market alongside the existing Swadro TC 1250 and TC 1250 Plus.

Equipped with the latest on-board electronics, load-sensing hydraulics and ISObus operation, working width of the newcomer is adjusted steplessly from 9.80m to 12.50m and swath width is from 1.20 to 2.20m.

The new centre delivery Pro uses the same EasyLine drive concept as the TC 1250/Plus, with the front rotors rotating faster than the rear ones, and active hydraulic rotor relief (standard on the TC 1370 Pro and TC 1570 Pro) is also on the TC 1250 Pro.

Other notable points include automatic soft-down system with adjustable rotor lowering speed and active hydraulic rotor relief on the front and rear rotors for optimum ground following.

When using the automatic lifting mechanism, the rear rotors are automatically raised to the same height as the front ones. The delay is programmable and the rotors are automatically raised should the operator forget to lift the rotors when reversing.

Power requirement is approx. 80hp and the new 12.5m model can be folded between work and transport positions (width and height are 2.99m and 3.99m, respectively) at the touch of a button. When turning on the headland, the rotors automatically lower to the work position.

The Swadro TC 1250 Pro comes with electric rotor height adjustment. This provides two storable heights with all four rotors adjusted simultaneously.

With an overall length of 8.25m, options include section control to automatically control the rotors during lowering and raising, and the new rake is offered with two tyre sizes; 500/50-17 or 710/35 R22.5.
