The Puro is the first dedicated precision planter to appear in Pöttinger livery and while it uses MaterMacc know-how, it is not just a rebadged machine.
This is a six-row machine with telescopic frame and row spacing of 70-75cm. Fertiliser hopper capacity is 1,300-litres and it uses air for the delivery to the coulter, seed hopper capacity is 68-litre and it uses mechanical metering capable of keeping the seed precise at speeds of up to 12km/hr.

The Puro has a new coulter design with more downforce, up to 180kg per row unit. The gearbox has also changed for faster adjustment. Electric metering is something that is in the pipeline. The Puro will be built in Italy at the Matermacc plant which Pöttinger bought three years ago.
