Rabe Agrartechnik is re-entering the pneumatic power harrow/seed drill market with the Ventus.
Developed in collaboration with Spanish manufacturer Sola, the 3.0m Ventus is based on Sola’s seeding technology and has been modified in terms of tank, distribution technology and operation.
Designed for the European market, especially Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and the UK, capacity of the split seed/fertiliser hopper is 2,000l. The Ventus uses two distribution heads and is ISObus compatible. Seed spacings are 12.5 or 15cm.
Part of the Zoomlion Group since 2020, the Chinese parent company is keen to position Rabe it as a full-liner for cultivators and seeding technology. With this in mind, the Bad Essen-based manufacturer plans to introduce a mechanical seed drill later this year.

Three are two models in the revised Phoenix T series: the T600 (5.65m) and T 800 (7.6m). Power requirements are a minimum of 200hp and 280hp, respectively.
The Ventus will be joined by the Pandion, a new shallow cultivator, at Agritechnica, where Rabe will share a 500m² stand with Zoomlion. The latest version of the Phoenix T-series cultivators will also be on display.
Despite the challenging market conditions, Rabe order intake increase by nearly a third in the first half of 2025. The company plans to further strengthen its market position in the second half of this year.
