The Danish-made Agrointelli Robotti was used to plant part of the harvesting demonstration plots for this year’s PotatoEurope event.

Part of a robotisation project between Wageningen University & Research (WUR), Agrointelli and Dewulf, the Robotti pulled a Miedema CP42 four-row cup planter. This is the first time the autonomous implement carrier has been used to plant potatoes.

The rest of the 25ha demonstration area (variety Aromata) was completed using a mix of AVR, Dewulf and Grimme planters towed behind standard tractors. PotatoEurope 2021 will take place at Lelystad in the Netherlands from September 1 and 2.
