A 2,000-litre SFH2000 Evolution single front hopper is now available for Claydon’s range of Opti-Till machinery.
Precisely 150mm lower and 100mm narrower than the existing 2,750-litre double front hopper, the new model incorporates a large, 1.80m x 750mm, opening lid with a single centred latch and stay strut. It is also fitted with removable stainless steel meshes, a single metering unit, two hopper level sensors (low and empty warnings), together with a metering unit empty sensor.
Like the double front hopper, the single version is ISObus compatible, and can be fitted with small, medium or large diameter interchangeable metering wheels to suit a wide range of seeds and fertilisers.
Supplied with a single 112mm-diameter transfer tube to transport seed to the rear-mounted drill toolbar, it can be equipped with the optional light and vision kit, 550kg of ballast, packer wheels with passive steering, and wheel scrapers.
David Furber (Claydon sales manager – UK/ROI) says that the single front hopper will be a popular. “It provides customers who are considering our front hopper/rear drill toolbar combination with a wider choice of configuration options.”
The SFH2000 is priced at £24,971.
