Strautmann will preview the new Primus 900 range of self-propelled mixer wagons at EuroTier in November.
Spanning capacities from 22 to 30m, the new three-model range are all equipped with the same Smart Feed Cab and Feed Control system as the existing Primus 600 models.
Power comes from a six-cylinder 280hp FPT engine, and all three triple-axle machines have 6ws with the option of crab steering. The newly designed 2.4m-wide milling head is said to tackle clamps with a height of up to 5.7m.
Andreas Haggeney, product manager and sales director at Strautmann, describes the new flagship range as an important step for the future.
“Our customers – particularly large farms and those using machines across multiple farms – need mixer wagons that combine high performance, efficiency and ease of operation,” he says.
“The Primus 900 meets these requirements and, with its powerful milling head, six-wheel steering and hydraulic chassis, offers a complete package that is designed for maximum productivity.”
A number of pre-production machines will be available next year. Full production is planned to start in Q2 2028.
