Strautmann has added two compact and lower capacity models to its Magnon forage wagon line-up.
Aimed at markets where there is a growing demand for lightweight professional machines with compact dimensions, the new Magnon 8/9-330 (32m³) and 10/11-390 (38m³) slot in between the existing 8 and 9 series models at the lower end of the range.
“Many customers want the technology and performance of our profi rotor forage wagons in more compact sizes,” comments sales director Felix Rademacher at Strautmann.
With an 18t boogie chassis, gross vehicle weight is 22t, the 8/9-330 is the German manufacturer’s smallest professional forage wagon. With a 20t hydraulic chassis and a gross vehicle weight of 24t, the 10/11-390 is said to combine the main selling points of the Magnon 10 and 11 with more compact dimensions.
Chop length on the two newcomers is a theoretical 22mm or 35mm, and the spec includes a hydraulic front headboard. The first machines will be available for the 2027 season.
