Last year was a profitable one for CNH Industrial (Case IH, New Holland and Steyr). Net sales were up by nearly a quarter to US$21.5 billion, and the concern recorded a net income of just over US$2.0 billion.

The figures from the agricultural division, which generated around US$18b of the total (US$14.7b in 2021), were boosted during the last three months of the year with consolidated revenues of US$6.9 billion (26% higher than the same three months in 2021).

Last year’s positive results were driven mainly by higher sales volumes in the important markets of North America, South America and Europe. Looking ahead, order books remain strong in all global regions and the company forecasts a further 6.0% to 10% increase in net sales this year.
