Taylor Attachments has announced that it has purchased MDE’s agricultural range of products which includes the silo compactors as well as the forks and buckrakes for silage clamp work.

This move will allow the Bristol-based attachment maker to extend its product range, while Northern Ireland firm, MDE Machinery will concentrate on its forestry attachments of tree shears, grapples and mulchers.

Production of the MDE agri products will start next month, with some modification. Director, Mark Taylor points out that they are committed to manufacturing these machines to the same high standards customers expect from both the MDE and Taylor Attachments, whilst incorporating further designs, innovation and technology to meet the evolving demands of the modern agricultural sector.

This acquisition follows a period of significant growth for Taylor Attachments, backed by over £1.2 million in facility and workshop investments over the past 18 months, with further upgrades continuing through autumn of this year.
