Approx. 125,100 new tractors were registered in mainland Europe in 2025. This number was down nearly 4.0% on 2024.

France remains the number one market but the 27,916 tractors registered last year were 16% lower than the 33,225 units recorded in 2024. Fewer new tractors were also recorded in the second largest market of Germany; down 12.3% from 29,315 units in 2024 to 25,719 last year.

Third placed Italy bucked the trend with registrations up 13.7% from 15,450 in 2024 to 17,573 in 2025, and the Spanish tractor market grew by a quarter from 10,342 units in 2024 to just over 11,000 last year.

Polish registrations increased 25% to 10,717 (8,573 in 2024), giving it fifth place in the overall standings. The other top 10 spots were filled by Portugal (6th/4,845), Serbia (7th/3,865), Austria (8th/3,558), Czech Republic (2,332/9th) and the Netherlands (2,205/10th).
