The Italian-made self-propelled sprayers will be making their UK show debut under the John Deere banner at next month’s Cereals Event.

Visitors will see two versions for large-scale arable farms; a 175hp MAF 3580 (3,750-litre) model with 24.0m boom and a 300hp MAF 6240 (6,600-litres) with 36.0m boom, which will also be demonstrated.

Main features include John Deere Powertech engines, a hydrostatic transmission and two hydraulic pumps, 4wd, 4ws with crab steering and clearance up to a maximum of 1.7m. There is also a Cat 4 cab, hydraulic front and rear wheel motors, hydro-pneumatic suspension, hydraulic track adjustment with optional automatic adjustment from the cab and self-levelling stainless steel booms.

John Deere bought the Italian sprayer manufacturer in 2017. The Mazzotti sprayers are available from selected John Deere dealers in the UK, including Cornthwaite Group, Farol, Rea Valley Tractors, Tallis Amos Group and P Tuckwell.
