An integrated weighing system is one of two new options on Amazone’s ZG-TX combi spreader. The second is automatic spread rate regulation for lime.

Providing accurate hopper fill level indication and simple offline spread rate regulation of lime and granular fertiliser, the integrated weighing system comprises two weigh cells positioned between the axle and the frame and an additional sensor in the drawbar. The weight is displayed on the ISObus terminal.

Supporting fill level management when used in conjunction with optional the work lights, flashing work lights indicate the hopper fill level and enable precise filling to the target weight. This helps reduce residual hopper volumes and make the work process more efficient, says Amazone.

The newly developed gearboxes on the FlowControl automatic spread rate regulation system enables torque measurement, a familiar technique from fertiliser application, to be used for lime. Once the desired application rate is set, FlowControl continuously adjusts the discharge automatically.

Both systems are now available for all ISObus-equipped ZG-TX models. This includes the ZG-TX Super (maximum permissible machine weight of 21t) and the ZG-TX Special (12.5t).
