Kuhn Farm Machinery has expanded its Megant mounted tine drill range with the 722 R (7.2m) and 802 R (8.0m).
Sharing much of their spec with the existing 602 R (6.0m), the 802 R can achieve 8.0ha/hr, while the 7.2m model is compatible with 36m sprayer, allowing symmetrical drilling and tramlining over five passes.

With power requirements of 180hp (7.2m) and 200hp (8.0m), both drills have a single 1,800-litre hopper (SH 1120, 110-litre hopper for small seeds optional). Both hoppers use the same seed distribution flow and outlets.
Able to drill in a variety of soil conditions, the staggered tine layout over four rows is said to allow trash and sticky soils to flow easily. Reversible forward-facing coulters, straight coulters, or 12mm tines are available, while the four front wheels (six or eight are optional) achieve a consistent seeding depth.
Other options include Kuhn’s Vistaflow universal tramlining and blockage monitoring system. The two new models will be in full production from spring 2026.
