The C516-75, a 16-row maize grain header for 75cm rows, is the widest ever offered by Case IH in Europe.
Developed to maximize the performance of the AF series combines, main advantages of the 12m header include the significantly reduced overall weight of the picking units, and operators benefit from simplified maintenance procedures and minimized downtime.

Altered hydraulically from the cab, the new dual-action deck plates on the C516-75, and equally new C512-75 (12 rows/75cm spacing/9m), allow the operator to quickly adapt to differing crop conditions.
The 60cm flighting diameter (62.5cm pitch) of the cross auger is said to ensure smooth feeding in all conditions, and the dual driveline provides separate drives to the row unit and integral chopper.

The dual driveline improves load management of the individual drive components and gearboxes and maximizes power distribution efficiency and enhances overload protection.
The monitoring system uses sensors on the main toolbar to detect both chopper and row unit slip clutch activation through vibration and frequency signals. When triggered, operators receive an in-cab alert.
