The Series 5 is a completely new for Zetor with three models; the 5100 (10hp), 5110 (113hp) and 5120 (122hp). As it continues to revamp and modernise it product range, the Czech firm is turning to the expertise of Turkish tractor maker Hattat for a replacement for the Proxima which ceased production two years ago.
A prototype from the range will make its public debut at the Zielone Agro Show in Poland this weekend. Production units are expected to hit the market this summer alongside the Compax, Major and Series 6 ranges.

The new Series 5 trio are all powered by a four-cylinder FPT engine using a DPF for Stage V emissions. In the smallest model, the 5100 this is partnered with a 40km/hr, 24 speed, three range, mechanical shuttle and splitter transmission. The 5110 and 5120 are also 24-speeds but benefit from a two-speed powershift and powershuttle.
There is also a slight difference in the hydraulic department, where the 5100 has a 65l/min versus the 80l/min in the 5110 and 5120. They all get electric linkage controls with respective lift capacities of 4,500kg and 5,500kg.
“Series 5 represents exactly the type of tractor many customers are looking for today – a robust, mechanical and operationally efficient machine without unnecessary complexity. Our goal was to bring a tractor offering high utility value, simple servicing and parameters matching the needs of European farmers,” says Róbert Harman.
