100 years of harvesting history at Zedelgem: Leon Claeys set up his little thresher manufacturing business on May 22, 1906, in the Belgian town of Zedelgem. Today, 100 years on, the 36ha Zedelgem plant acts as European harvesting home to New Holland, employs about 2,000 people and pumps out an average of 10 combines per day. That’s some transformation.
