Combining is always a balancing act for the driver. On the one hand, there’s a necessity to maximise throughputs to exploit the machine’s full potential. On the other hand, losses need to be kept to a minimum, and grain cleanliness should not suffer, either. Optimising the machine settings, therefore, requires a significant amount of experience — especially since field conditions are never exactly the same.
