PRACTICAL TEST: While Horsch is a new name in the crop sprayer game, it makes some pretty bold claims for its high capacity, high-spec machines. To put those claims to the test we ran one of the company’s 6,000-litre Leeb 6GS trailed models for a whole season to see how it performs

Having built self-propelled sprayers for a number of years, Bavarian company Leeb introduced its first trailed models in 2009. Two years later the manufacturer joined forces with a name better known in the cultivations and drilling game to form Horsch Leeb Application Systems.

Now the company is making serious inroads into the crop protection market with its high capacity, top-end sprayers. Last season we profi-tested one of them — the 6,000-litre Leeb 6GS with its new ‘Boom Control Pro’ feature.
