Depending on a cow’s genetics and her diet, milk can taste very different. But this individuality is often
lost, as milk of a specific fat level tastes the same, regardless of the farm it came from. A frustration for farmers and consumers who can appreciate the difference, many producers are convinced that their milk can do better.

At EuroTier Lely unveiled an on-farm dairy called Orbiter. Housed in a container, the equipment doesn’t just bottle the milk but can also separate cow groups to meet the needs of different customers. We visit the prototype in the Netherlands to find out more
