Plenty of steel and a hooked tine seem to make for an ideal combination on Malone’s Tedd-Air. We’ve been using the six-rotor 840 in a range of crops to assess whether it has an Achilles heel

Malone has been making the fourrotor Tedd-Air 570 and six-rotor 840 since 2015. Since then, there have been subtle tweaks to the design to improve performance in a broader range of crops as the Irish machinery maker gains a stronger foothold on the world stage. While there are plans for trailed six- and eight-rotor models in the next 12 months, we contented ourselves with testing the current flagship, the 840.
