Massey Ferguson has been stirring its model pot yet again and bundled the 130hp+ 5400-, 6400- and 7400-series tractors into the one 7600 line-up. Just as on the 180hp+ 7600 units we looked at in our May 2012 issue, there’s now a wider spec choice. Keep reading to find out more.

The selection of brochures at the local Massey dealership has just shrunk, because everything from the 5465 to the 7499 now falls under the new 7600 umbrella. Kicking off the new range is the 7614, rated at 96kW/ 130hp (ISO 14396), and it eventually tops out with the 176kW/240hp 7626 flagship. The models fitted with a mechanical Dyna4 or Dyna-6 transmission benefit from a 15-25hp power boost, which is phased in from gear 2D, and a max boost from 3A up…
