By opting for a hollow piston that is filled with nitrogen, Walterscheid has created its DS series of hydraulic top links with integrated damping. Suitable for tractors up to 300hp is the Cat III compatible HOLHS C-105DS. The 105 figure indicates the piston diameter in millimetres while the piston rod measures 60mm. This is 15mm larger than the standard top link, the extra volume housing the integrated nitrogen accumulator.
