More and more new tractors are being supplied with a front linkage … and an increasing number are also being delivered with a front pto to boost output. There are many benefits to running front-mounted equipment such as better weight distribution, less field traffic and higher productivity. Other bonuses are when, say, flail topping, it means grass isn’t flattened by the tractor’s wheels, making it harder to achieve a neat finish.
