Driving impression: Weidemann T4512 CC35 telehandler If you need a compact loader, then there’s not too much choice in the tiny telehandler market. Last year Weidemann introduced the T4512, which not only squeezes into the tightest of buildings but is also capable of filling a diet feeder.
Probably best known for its line-up of small articulated loaders, Weidemann also manufactures a range of telehandlers – including its new baby featured here, the T4512 CC35. Launched last year, the tiny ‘tele’ is aimed at those businesses needing to lift loads to over 4.5m but still whizz in and out of low and narrow doorways. With this in mind, peruse some of the handler’s more vital statistics below: n Overall length measures 2.92m without an attachment; total width is 1.56m, roof height 1.94m. These dimensions are more compact than those of a comparable articulated loader with the required protective roof
- Its 5.21m turning circle makes it very agile in tight spaces
- The 4.50m lift height, measured at the attachment pivot pin, allows the machine to stack big bales and load a diet feeder or muckspreader
- A 2.5t operating weight should enable the T4512 to trundle across slatted floors without it ending up in the pit below
