Been to the dentist lately? If yes, and if a tooth rebuild was on the menu, then you’re probably wearing some UV-cured adhesive. Beyond that and other medical applications, glues that harden on exposure to ultraviolet light turn up in all sorts of industrial productions. Some major plusses are their ability to fill gaps, to remain liquid until required to set, potential flexibility/shock resistance, and very rapid curing without added heat.
