Suitable for a range of tasks including stubble cultivation and seedbed preparation, Pöttinger’s Terradisc HT 12000 (12.5m) disc harrow is designed for tractors from 450 to 720hp.
Sitting above the existing 8.0m (8001 T) and 10m (10001 T) models, the new trailed machine uses the same twin arm system with two disc carriers and two concave discs per clamping bracket. The diameter and position of the discs (580mm scalloped or plain concave) is also unchanged.

The ground tracking system on the 12.5m horizontal folding model is new, with the four frame sections independently adapting to any ground unevenness. The inner sections can move between -3° and +6° and the outer two from -4.5° and +4.5°.
The frame sections can be hydraulically pre-tensioned in pairs to match the conditions. Depth control is provided by the large dual jockey wheels, the central transport chassis and rear roller.
Four double-acting spools with intelligent presets regulate all the key functions and settings, such as headland position, disc section pressure, and side pull correction. Working depth is changed hydraulically in 9.0mm increments.
The rear roller supports the machine’s weight when turning on headlands and the long drawbar allows for tight turns with a steering angle of up to 85°.
