If you’re after a lightweight farm runabout with some decent off-road capability and a bit more sophistication than an ATV buggy then it might be worth considering a 4wd mini van.
Various companies import forward-control Bedford Rascal-inspired pick-ups, one such outfit being Leicestershire-based Urban Offroader. The firm offers two variants of the Suzuki Carry – an ordinary single cab and the slightly more spacious Super Carry.
Standard spec. includes off-road tyres of varying sizes, air-con, ABS and Carplay with a 660cc petrol engine driving either a five-speed manual box or four-speed auto. There’s then the option of two different lift kits to jack the body up by 50mm or 100mm and additional extras such as an Ifor-style canopy, bed-liners and light-bars. With a load capacity of 350kg, prices start from £13,500.
