The Solitair PT, a new power harrow drill, is said to be suitable for a wide range of different soils and conditions.

Equipped with four tine carriers per metre of working width, Lemken says that the tine arrangement and hydraulic depth adjustment (standard) on the Zirkon power harrow ensures even crumbling and a continuous flow of soil in all conditions.

Working depth, rotor- and forward speed are all adjustable, enabling the latest Solitair to work at both shallow and deeper depths. The levelling bar can be adjusted hydraulically or mechanically.

There are two steel tank options; a single 4,400-litre capacity version or a double (40:60 split) unit with a capacity of 5,100 litres. Made from corrosion-resistant components and integrated agitator shaft, the modular metering system is said to reliably handle different seeds or fertilisers.

The coulter bar with parallelogram-guided double disc coulters is available with the OptiDisc M (up to 45kg coulter pressure) or OptiDisc H (up to 70kg). Coulter pressure can be adjusted mechanically or hydraulically.

The long drawbar enables tight turning even with wide tractors, and seed placement can be further improved by a pre-running trapeze packer roller. Other options include a leading 90cm-diamter tyre packer, wheeling eradicator discs or tractor wheel mark eradicators.

The PT will initially be available as a 6.0m model. Minimum power requirement is around 250hp.
