Alongside a new precision planter, Bednar was showing its entry to the power harrow drill market with 3.0m and 6.0m versions.
Our focus here is on the 3.0m wide Soniq ON3000. Rated up to 250hp, the power harrow is sourced from an Italian manufacturer that uses double bearings and a top cap for easier access the a full top lid. Quick release tines are on the options list and a collar around the rotor keeps stones away from the trough bottom and shaft.

The disc coulters are said to be a scaled down version of the Omega, Bednar’s trailed drill range. With these, it weighs 3,520kg plus seed – there is a choice of 1,000- or 1,600-litre hoppers. The coulters can be raised 30cm when you just want to harrow. Coulter pressure is said to be 65kg per row.

The Soniq has ISObus controls with the metering unit powered electrically. The distribution head is external. As on other Bednar drills, there is a pipe to the rear for removing any left over seed.
The front tank, rear hydraulic fold models are available in widths of 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and 6.0m
