We’ve just returned from a tour of the Hanover Fairgrounds to provide a flavour of some of the tractor highlights.
The stands are not yet finished, but visitors looking for tractors at this year’s show, which starts on Sunday, will not be disappointed. With around 450 different models on display, there will be plenty to see.

Our tour began in the CNH stand in hall 3 where the recently launched short wheelbase version of the T7 is on the stand, and there´s something else under the covers too. Not far away is the new 440hp range topping Case IH Optum and Quadtrac 785, and Steyr has covered a couple of tractors.

One side of the Deutz-Fahr stand in hall 4 is set aside for two models from a new six-cylinder range, and the Zoomlion-Rabe stand in hall 5 is certainly worth visiting where a number of heavyweight hybrids are on display.

Kubota is also in hall 5 as is Lindner which will show the Lintrac 160 (175hp) – the most powerful tractor so far from the Austrian manufacturer, and Versatile will show two Nemesis models (175 and 255) in the same hall, plus, some a couple of larger articulated tractors.
The 5165 Red Power is the largest of a whole bunch of tractors on the stand of Turkish manufacturer Basak in hall 6. There’s a mixture of both small and large tractors on the Weichai Lovol stand in hall 7, and Indian manufacturers Tafe and Solis are in the same hall.

There are no Russian manufacturers at this year’s show. JCB has filled the space normally occupied by Rostselmash in hall 9, and will show two models from the new Fastrac 6000 series.

The curtain is firmly closed on the new Axion 9 on the Claas stand in hall 13, and the 9RX830 is on the John Deere stand in the same hall as is a 130hp fully electric tractor.

Dutch firm Eox Tractors will show the autonomous and electrically powered Frontier in hall 25, and while Zetor does not have a stand, the new 6 series tractor is available for inspection in hall 21.

The flurry of recently launched Fendt tractors are all on the Agco stand in hall 20. The latest version of the four-cylinder A series is on the Valta stand, and we are told to expect some G series news. We did not have time for a proper look but suspect that Massey Ferguson will also have something new to show us.
