Fendt plans to bring around 110 tractors and self-propelled machines to next week’s Fendt Saaten-Union field day.

Held in the year when there is no Agritechnica, never has so much Fendt power been seen, heard and experienced is the claim for this year’s event, which takes place on a 90ha site on August 23 in Wadenbrunn near Würzburg, Germany.

Supported by several dozen machinery exhibitors, the one-day show, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors, is believed to be the largest European field day of any farm machinery manufacturer. This year the company says it is bringing the future to the field, and in addition to static machines, visitors will be able to see lots of working ones, including MT tracked tractors, Squadra square balers, Tigo loader wagons and Ideal combine harvesters.

The event provides the company with the possibility to present its constantly growing full-line range of products, says Peter-Josef Paffen, chairman of the AGCO/Fendt management board. “It’s not only a very special event for visitors but also for us as a company,” he adds.

Should you be planning to visit Wadenbrunn then the new ‘Fendt Field Day’ app for iOS and Android users could be worth downloading. Equipped with a programme overview, list of exhibitors, map and information about Fendt machines, the company recommends installing it ahead of the event.

A large selection of Fendt merchandise will be on display in the shop, including some special models. The event opens at 9.30am and the first highlight, the Fendt future to field machine parade, starts at 10am. The day ends at 5pm.
