934 new tractors were registered in the UK in July. This is a 6.1% increase on the same month in 2025.

As has been the case all year, the number of agricultural tractors registered in July was higher than during the same month last year, although the rate of increase was the lowest so far in 2026, reports the AEA.

That level was around 6% below the average for the time of year during the previous five years, in line with the shortfall recorded in the first half of the year.

Registrations for the year to date of 6,889 units is still running around a fifth higher than in the opening seven months of 2025 and were also higher than in January to July 2024.
