The enhanced automatic levelling system is one of the main updates to the latest version of the AVR Spirit 9200i two-row trailed potato harvester.
Standard on new cross roller (CR) and Varioweb (VW) variants, repositioning the new levelling cylinder on the chassis extends levelling on both sides of the harvester up to 4.5° (previously 3.8°) on the right up to 5.5° (previously 3.8°) on the left.
The software has been updated, and the Belgian manufacturer has redesigned the user interface of several cleaning modules. The resulting operating screens are said to allow users to navigate even more intuitively and work more efficiently.

The possibility to adjust the speed of the deflecting rollers on the pintle belt (VW) independently from the cross-conveyor belt is also new. This gives operators greater control over the crop flow, says AVR, and ensures an even smoother and more precise transfer from the pintle belt to the sorting table.
The increased hydraulic capacity is said to result in even better performance, and the optimised automatic filling and unloading functions of the bunker (CR/VW) is said to provide operators with greater control and precision while loading and unloading.
The comfort package is new on the options list. This includes a hand-washing tank, ladder, storage box and three cup holders. Other new options include an additional 400mm diameter cutting disc for more efficient cutting and minimised risk of blockages and crop build-up in heavy foliage conditions.
Other new options include an extra deflecting roller on in-line pintle belt (CR) to optimise crop flow, and a rotary comb module (VW) on the cross pintle belt. The latter separates stones and clods and helps optimise crop distribution across the sorting table.
There is also a new scraper option to automatically clean the axial rollers gearbox. This can be configured to work at predefined intervals.
